Coal Baron- or Glück Auf in German, after a greeting German miners use when wishing one another luck- has players sending miners underground to dig tunnels and acquire coal, which comes in four levels of quality and is used to fulfill contracts.
The game lasts three rounds, and in each round players take turns placing their workers on action spaces. You can place on a space occupied by another player, but you need to place additional workers in order to do so. Each player has an individual elevator shaft, and will need to use workers to extract coal and bring it to the surface, while also competing for contracts and scrounging for cash in order to do everything else that needs to be done!
This worker-placement game plunges you into the fascinating and complex world of 19th-century mining in northern France. The mechanics have not been altered from the original version and remain as the two authors intended. One of the strengths of this game is that you can outbid your meeples to avoid getting stuck.
There's a real sense of immersion thanks to the game board, which allows you to descend to the bottom of the mine with its mobile lift.

Вугільний барон- або Glück Auf німецькою мовою, після привітання, яке німецькі шахтарі використовують, коли бажають один одному удачі. Гравці посилають шахтарів під землю копати тунелі та здобувати вугілля, яке має чотири рівні якості та використовується для виконання контрактів.
Гра триває три раунди, і в кожному раунді гравці по черзі розміщують своїх робітників на місцях дії. Ви можете розмістити на місці, зайнятому іншим гравцем, але для цього вам потрібно розмістити додаткових працівників. Кожен гравець має окрему шахту ліфта, і йому потрібно буде використовувати робітників для видобутку вугілля та витягування його на поверхню, а також змагатися за контракти та шукати гроші, щоб зробити все інше, що потрібно зробити!
Ця гра працевлаштування занурює вас у захоплюючий і складний світ гірничої промисловості 19-го століття на півночі Франції. Механіка не була змінена порівняно з оригінальною версією та залишилася такою, якою задумали два автори.
