It's the solution I found to aviod the timer. In Welcome To or Azul, you just ave to cancel or confirm, it's easy to do < 8s, but here you have to choose a card to flip, select it, then confirm, I don't think a timer ould be appropriate. But as we don't often flip a card, you can tell the game to skip that part (until you disable that switch)
A "Pause to consider Flip" button with a 5 second timer would be ideal. You take your turn, then have 5 seconds to decide if you want to consider flipping a card. Doing so stops the timer and lets you ponder for the normal game timer duration, but in that case you are actively pondering and not just wondering why the game stopped.
