I think what you must be referring to is "See the game in action." Not "Watch a game in progress." That's different. "See the game in action" refers to the first frame of the sliding display. It shows an animated replay of a randomly selected, past play of the game. The frames to the right of that are meant to relate to the game somehow, but not necessarily be "games in progress". In the case of Zola, I've chosen photos that relate to its theme. These are not "stock photos." These are photos that I took of my cows, a dog at my construction site, a Mongolian lady named Zola, etc. All of which portray a Mongolian theme, the country where I designed the game of Zola.

"Watch a game in progress" let's you view instances of games currently being played. Totally unrelated to "See a game in action" and to the images the developer has chosen to display.

Zola is a simple game. The "See a game in action" and "Watch a game in progress," features impart a complete understanding of what Zola being played looks like. Posting more images of Zola being played wouldn't really add anything. Hope you enjoy the game. Challenge me some time 🙂

It is not evident how they relate to the game and i honesty thought someone was testing photo upload.
While you give an explanation here, it doesn’t quite seem to be a good fit for the section, when compated with other games on the site :)

Other games have a designer, a publisher, and a developer. They have ordinary concerns that don't apply to someone wearing all 3 hats. The Japanese have a saying. The nail that sticks out gets hammered. The Germans have Order must be. I'm an American living in Mongolia, not subject to such admonitions.

Maybe I'll put a note of explanation about the photos to illuminate the dark mystery.

I just stumbled across these photos, too. To me, it looks very strange and inappropriate and does not make appetite for the game. Rather I would shy away from playing because it could be a scam.

Especially the first pic is nuts, the lady with the selfie. I don't see how this captures any theme.
And maybe do not put so MANY pics of your dog if you absolutely want to do it.

As I said, to the normal critical internet user, this feels so out of place and could be conceived as a scam.

However, thanks for bringing this game to BGA!
