If I understand correctly, you would like to have more time to validate your bid? (because there is a validation step)

yes. Let's say I validate my bid in a turn based game and 3 hours later the bids are still pending. a lot of games (Nidavellir is another that comes to mind) have the UNDO button (or something equivalent) available as long as someone still doesn't have their bids in.

Since in real life, we'd be able to switch our bid until we all yell Yo Ho Ho, it's artifical to have it locked in.

(I understand it's harder to program what I am suggesting).

But yes, the idea is if after you confirm, you stare at the game waiting for everyone else to bid and get second thoughts, you could be able to say "actually, let me change my bid, since we're still waiting for Bob to make his bid anyway"

this is not a feature different from the real game -- this would make the BGA version closer to the physical implementation

We're leaving the suggestion open. After that, you already have all the time you need to think about your bid. There's just a timer to validate... but you can cancel. Waiting for other players' opinions ;)

We can allow a 10s delay for validation. But giving the option to cancel your bid will break the dynamics of the game... especially in real time (that's our opinion).

understood. was just a suggestion. you might want to check out the games I've mentioned b/c I am not 100% sure you understand the feature I'm suggesting. But also, I understand whatyou've said and I don't plan to add anything more. thanks for listening.
