Maybe you storage was full? You can only keep 1 square tile (decoration, fertilizer, hand trowel, watering can).

hello,

your pet/furniture goes directly in your storage at the end of your turn if there is some room there.
If it's not empty, you're asked which one you keep before discarding the extra one.

Thank you. I think that a better solution from a UX perspective would be the "Place in storage" button ;) The current solution may cause confusion for first-time players.

Storage/reserve is empty, but it won't allow me to store a tile - requires me to use it immediately. This is my second game - the same thing happened numerous times towards the end of my first game, (table ##664239740), but at the beginning of that game, the storage/reserve was working correctly for me.

@Peanut_Butter: Normally you have an "End Turn" button that ends your turn and automatically stores (you don't have a choice between two tokens).

I agree Lucylee, the interface is not clear, something else needs to be added, like "end turn and place into storage", or highlight the storage to put the item on it.
On the current interface I though that I only could add a nurture item (to the storage) and I had to check the rules and BGG forums to remember that I also could add a unique item (pet/furniture) to the storage.

It confused me as well. In my opinion, it might be better to allow a player to click onto a storage to place it there. Or have a button to do it.
