The current guru system is not working, since only top 100 players with the most game played are selected in the guru pool. Also, top players who simply don't have endless gaming times are also being represented. Top 100 elo guru pool is simply superior than 100 players with most game played, especially when many of them only play solo games one after another, who do NOT and/or don't know what to vote for arena formats.

In fact, I wish all the games on BGA would selection top 100 elo players for their guru pools, since the site has vastly improved it's elo system by decaying dormant player's elos over time.
