In most of my plays of Darwin's Journey I got assigned the color yellow, despite it not being in my preferences, and even when colors that were in my preferences (blue and white) were available. In the linked game it says my colors and the green player's colors were picked due to preferences, which is clearly incorrect, as it's not like blue and white were already taken by other players due to what they set in their profile.
