The game interface was still showing and saying that I need to make a move but I could not select anything on the page. I refreshed the page and got the 502 bad gateway error. I then closed and restarted my entire browser but still couldn't access BGA at all for the next ~3-5 minutes. Internet was fine, I was able to access other websites without any issue.

Your bug has probably been fixed already, or was linked to a temporary failure of BGA service.
In any case, when filling a bug report, make sure to have an explicit title linked to the incident (ex: with error message), so other players can recognize it and vote for it.
