As what turned out to be the last move of the game, I used a Mole card to perform many turns. I loaded a lot of cards into the clearing using trees, spent cards to put out cards, and ended using a Bear card to take all the clearing cards for points. At the end of the game, there were no cards in the "cave" so that point total was zero. It did not affect the outcome of the particular game, but it could for someone else's.
